Menu commands

Examine32/Examine64 Text Search uses context sensitive help for its menus. To obtain help on any menu command select it with the keyboard or with the mouse keeping the left button pressed down. Press F1 and if using a mouse release the left button. Help will then be loaded displaying the relevant help topic.

 

Right clicking on the main window will produce a popup menu with the following menu commands

 

Click to expandText Search

 

The Text Search command opens up the Text Search Dialog Box where you can specify your search parameters.

Ctrl + T

 

Click to expandLogical Search

 

The Logical Search command opens up the Logical Search Dialog Box where you can specify your search parameters.

 

Menu:

File | Logical Search

Toolbar:

Yes

Keys:

Ctrl + L

 

Click to expandOpen Search

 

The Open Search command opens up the Open search file dialog box from where you can open a search results file or a search parameter file.

 

Menu:

File | Open Search

Toolbar:

Yes

 

Click to expandExit

 

The Exit command closes the program.

 

Menu:

File | Exit

 

Right clicking on a Search Window or Viewing Window will produce their own specific popup menus.
